Jill Soffer is an Aspen, Colorado based philanthropist, focusing on Climate and Democracy initiatives. Through her foundation, Our Part, she expands her investments by engaging and collaborating with peers, maximizing the efficacy of our work.
Jill is an active board member of The Sierra Club Foundation and an Ambassador for NextGen America. Her local service includes the public lands protector, Wilderness Workshop, and the 2Forks Club which supports community farmers. She graduated from Brown University and Barnard College. Her passions include friends, family, her animals and everything in the mountains.
Jim Alexee is a nationally recognized strategist focusing on climate, democracy, and social ventures. With more than 20 years of experience spanning government, politics, technology, and finance, Jim believes that making a difference requires lean, entrepreneurial approaches--rooted in equity--to the world’s most pressing challenges. Jim has designed and implemented multiple strategy and growth initiatives, launched state, local, and national advocacy projects, led the turnaround of two organizations, and directed the largest political program in the Sierra Club’s history during the 2020 election cycle. Jim is a graduate of The Ohio State University and received an MBA in finance and entrepreneurship from the College of William & Mary. Jim lives in Denver with his wife and son.
